Inspired by Love Destiny 2, a popular Thai period drama set in Ayutthaya province, participants are invited to dress in traditional Thai costumes to celebrate the annual Loy Krathong festival at Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a Buddhist temple in Thailand's former capital, on Monday.
Loy Krathong is a time when people offer apologies to the Hindu Goddess Ganga for polluting the rivers by floating krathongs, or baskets, onto rivers, canals or ponds.
