 People in Bangkok try to cool off in various ways as Thailand's capital city is experiencing extremely hot weather expected to cool down towards the end of the week. The Meteorological Department warned in March that temperatures during this dry season could match the record in Thailand of 44.5 degrees Celsius in Uttaradit province in 1960.
