A drunken Brit was attacked by three teenagers in the early hours of Sunday morning in Pattaya leaving him a bloody mess and needing hospital treatment.
Police were alerted to the attack by staff at a convenience store who witnessed the incident on Central Pattaya Rd, Moo 9, Soi 4 at around 3,30am on Sunday morning. The shop worker said the Brit was chased by three young men who attacked him before running off. The tourist then went into the shop asking for help.
The injured man was named by rescue volunteers as 35-year-old Lee Hontinhtion (Huntington ???) who gave no indication to police why he was singled out for a beating. He was left with a large gash to the forehead.
Police are checking CCTV footage in a bid to identify the attackers saying they must be caught as such incidents involving tourists are bad for the image of Thailand.
