Two foreign tourists carrying a baby were left high and dry in the middle of a Bangkok tollway because the taxi driver went
past their agreed destination, according to Facebook user Surachai Hiranpraditkul
Mr Surachai posted a photo of the stranded tourists on his Facebook page on Tuesday. He wrote that the foreigners had
been taking the cab from Suvarnabhumi airport to Rama IV Road.
The cabbie used the tollway but failed to take the exit near Rama IV Road. He did not want to take responsibility and told the passengers to get out of the vehicle in the middle of the tollway.

Taxi did not abandon foreign family on expressway
Reports that a taxi driver had abandoned a family of foreign tourists with a baby and luggage on an expressway in Bangkok were not true, a senior tourist police officer said on Monday.
At the Asok 2 toll plaza, the van stopped so passengers could go to the toilet. The foreign family told the driver they wanted to go to Sukhumvit 71 Road, but the driver told them they should go to Khao San Road first
Instead, the foreign family decided to get off the van right away with their luggage. They walked along the expressway looking for an exit and that is when they were photographed and the pictures pictures appeared on social networks.
