Three farang deaths in Phuket over the weekend
It was a sad weekend in Phuket with three foreigners losing their lives before their time.
Australian Bitcoin trader Adam Tepper a 34 year old Australian chief executive officer for an exchange company was killed in a motorbike accident on Thursday. He was driving at high speed when his motorbike crashed into a pole in Rawai, he was not wearing a helmet ad was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday a 35 year old French man was killed when he drove his motorbike into an electric pole. Emergency services were called to the scene at 10.25pm, they arrived to find Mr Maximilien Nahuel Grau on the floor by the pole with a severe head injury. Witnesses told the police the man had been travelling at high speed.
On Sunday 1st of March Mr. Kenny Olesen, a 53 year old Danish man was found dead in his hotel room in Patong. Hotel maids discovered his body at around 11am, he had been dead for around eight hours. The cause of his death is still undetermined however early reports suggest it could have been alcohol related. Mr. Olesen had been in a rehabilitation program at the Bangkok Hospital.
