Bangkok motorcycle taxi driver Dejchat Puangket has become an instant social media celebrity since being the first to post photos of a wounded Iranian bomb suspect in Bangkok in February last year.
On Wednesday he was interviewed on a television programme in Singapore about his rise to social news media fame.
On Feb 14, 2012, Mr Dejchat was one of the first people to arrived at the scene of a bombing on Sukhumvit Soi 71, and was the first to post news and photos of injured suspect Saeid Moradi, who was lying in the debris with one of his legs blown off.
In the interview with "2 Wheels" programme, Mr Dejchat, who is a citizen journalist with his own Twitter account, with more than 9,000 followers, and an internet blog, talked about his daily work as a motorcycle taxi rider and how he used social media to report on traffic in Bangkok. http://www.bangko...ngapore-tv
