A 14 years-old child was was hit and kicked by money lenders who came looking for his mother but could find her so they attacked the boy who was lying in his bed. “Your mother did not pay the daily interest. Pay tomorrow or your mother will gonna die.”
SATTAHIP – June 19,2012 [PDN]; Pol.Col.Sathian Boonkam Nachomtian police station Sattahip Chonburi, was notified by Mrs.Wilai Chaona 39 years-old living at 266/3 moo 4, tambon Sattahip, Chonburi and Rungroj Boontham her 14-years-old son with a bruised face, whom she had brought to the police station.
They came to beg for justice regarding the illegal money lending gang who came to their house on June 15 and hurt her son.
The mother had reported the case to Pol.Maj.Col.Pornchai Kingsawat, investigation officer of Najomtian police station.
Four days had passed but the police could not had caught the gang.
Mrs. Wilai said that about 2-3 months ago she had been short of cash because her income from fish selling was not enough.
So she had borrowed money from an illegal money lenders in Pattaya in Khaotalo area.
She knew only their nick names, “Sak” and “Nung” She borrowed 5,000 THB from with them with an interest 60 THB per day.
A day before the incident they came to her her fish stall in Najomtian market. She said that she had sold anything yet, and begged for more time.
She would give them the money as soon as she had sold something. They refused to listen to her and started destroying her assets, the fish containers and the scale.
Before they left they said that they would return next day at four in the afternoon.
The following day at 16.00 , “Oat” or Rungroj Boontam, her 14 years-old son came back from school and went to have rest in his bed. The mother was still at her fish stall.
Later a neighbour called his mother and said that her son was hurt and unconscious in his bed.The mother rushed home and sent her son to the hospital. Thereafter she went to the police and made a report.
Her son said that after he got home, he rested and slept until he heard two men shouting to see his mother, he answered, that his mother would came home in soon, “please wait”.
Then one of the men came into the room and said he would kick him, because they had not paid the daily interest.
” Tell our mom that unless you pay tomorrow your mom is gonna die.” After he finished his sentence the man kicked and hit the boy until he became unconscious.
Moments a later neighbour came to help him. The loan-sharks had already disappeared on a motorbike.
Pol.Lt.Col.Manoch Bampentarn said that, he had commanded the investigation team to find the gang known only by their nick names, “Sak”, and “Nueng”.
The gang is charged with assault and breaking into house. “Sak” and “Nung” are expected to be arrested soon. http://www.pattay...-interest/

det er bare en historie fra hverdagen, der viser hvad nogle thaier er klar til at udføre hvis de ikke får deres 60 baht i daglig rente
en ret chokerende opførsel syntes jeg, en opførsel som mange danskere der kommer på ferie i thailand ikke forstår, måske netop derfor, går det galt for mange danskere i ferie paradiset hvor alle elsker dig
nogle er klar til at slå ihjel for 60 baht, hvad er thaipigen som er helt uskyldig i (sex) turisten øjne, så ikke klar til, husk hun får eller har udsigt til meget mere, hus, bil, og en fast månedlig check ind af døren
