Bangkok’s waterways are getting a much-needed cleanup! Precious Shipping Public Company Limited (PSL) has partnered with the city of Bangkok to launch an innovative HDPE canal-cleaning boat. This prototype, developed in under a year, is designed to tackle pollution at its source and prevent waste from reaching larger water bodies like the Chao Phraya River.
In this video, we take you to the official handover ceremony where PSL transferred the first vessel to Bangkok city officials, followed by its maiden cleanup run in one of the city's canals. Watch as this compact yet powerful boat showcases its efficiency and sustainability in action, setting the stage for a cleaner future for Bangkok’s waterways.
This is just the beginning of an exciting initiative to protect the environment and enhance the lives of local communities. Stay tuned for more updates as PSL continues its commitment to sustainability.
