Danish expat found dead in room
On Friday evening, Pattaya Police Radio Center was called for assistance in the death of Mr. Ole Christian Nielesen, aged 46 from Denmark whom was found dead in his rented room in Soi Bongkot. The police then contacted the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team to help out. The body of Mr. Nielesen was found naked and the team estimated that he had died 3 - 4 hours prior to them arriving. A small wound was found on his right leg but there were no signs of foul play in the room. Some items of personal medication were found in the room which indicated some kinds of illness.
His wife, Mrs. Sarayachat stated that she was at work when she received a phone call from a neighbor informing her to return home urgently as Mr. Ole was not well. As she thought it was not that serious she asked the neighbor to take him to the hospital. A while later, she received another phone call from the same neighbor informing her that her husband was found dead in the room.
Police assumed that cause of death was due to some illness but the body was taken to Banglamung Hospital for an autopsy.

Ja trist for så ung en mand og især for Kone og lille Søn. Og Ole var en hyggelig fyr Trist. |
