As an elderly man took 50,000 baht from his wallet in front of a Cash Deposit Machine, a thief in a motorcycle helmet came from behind and snatched the money out of his hands.
The robbery happened in broad daylight on Monday, as people nearby idly watched and walked away. It was filmed by a security camera at the Kasikornbank branch in Jom Thong district, Bangkok.
After grabbing the banknotes, the robber had a quick chat with the elderly man and then made good his escape on a motorbike.
According to reports, the victim filed a report at Bang Khun Thian police station and offered a cash reward of 20,000 for information leading to the thief's arrest.
