A video of a police officer kicking a man who was handcuffed and appeared drunk has drawn strong criticism from internet users.

The two-minute video, uploaded by Facebook user Da Drum on Thursday, showed several policemen trying to cuff a man in Nakhon Sawan. The scene was witnessed by many onlookers.

The person who took the video looked into the arrested man's vehicle and said the suspect was probably a volunteer guard

Reports said the officer who kicked the pickup truck driver was transferred after the video went viral.:(
