The registration of party list candidates on Monday and Tuesday failed miserably. Expect the same turmoil with the registration of MP candidates in the provinces which will take place from Saturday to next Wednesday.

Many believe it will be difficult for the Feb 2 election to happen as planned. Even if it does, the chances of having a successful election are indeed slim.

Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban has vowed to do everything to stop the election before the advent of reform which in his view must start with the resignation of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her cabinet.
