Bangkok Bank and Thai Airways launch THAI domestic e-ticket payments via Bualuang ATMs nationwide
Bangkok Bank and Thai Airways have created a new way to pay for Thai Airways domestic flights – using any of the 6,600 Bangkok Bank ATMs nationwide, which are available 24-hours a day. The collaboration is another great Thai Airways service option for domestic air ticket purchases. Thai Airways domestic tickets can be conveniently paid for at any Bangkok Bank ATM from 1 February 2011. Fees will be waived and a number of special offers will be available during the promotional period (1 February – 31 April 2011).
Bangkok Bank’s Executive Vice President and Head of Cash Management Chooporn Chantaravichai said the bank is pleased to partner with Thai Airways to provide a new payment option for its domestic air ticket passengers. Thai Airways passengers can now purchase their tickets 24-hours a day via 6,600 Bangkok Bank ATMs nationwide – a new collaboration that supports the lifestyle of modern consumers. The service will be available from 1 February 2011. To mark the occasion, the usual fee (Bt 15) will be waived for passengers paying for their tickets via Bangkok Bank ATMs from 1 February – 30 April 2011.
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited’s Vice President of Market Planning and Revenue Management Department Danuj Bunnag said Thai Airways focuses on helping passengers in many ways, including offering a wide range of convenient payment options, in line with passenger feedback. The collaboration with Bangkok Bank will not only increase convenience for Thai Airways passengers, but also save time and expense when completing payments. Thai Airways is always looking for ways to use new technologies to assist passengers with their needs and to suit their lifestyles.
After customers book their tickets via a THAI Contact Center (0-2356-1111) or
www.thaiairways.com, they will need to confirm that they will pay for the tickets via a Bangkok Bank ATM. They will receive a 12-digit Pay Code reference number. Using a Bangkok Bank ATM, passengers can complete the payment by following the instructions on the ATM screen, entering the Pay Code and their Mobile Phone Number. They will then receive an ATM slip for their records. On the travel date, passengers can easily check-in and get their boarding pass by showing the ATM slip at the Thai Airways Check-In counter.
Thai Airways passengers or Bangkok Bank customers interested in receiving more information should contact the THAI Contact Center (0-2356-1111) or call Bualuang Phone 1333 or 0-2645-5555, or visit
